Tull

"Tull" is a creative cultural brand devoted to celebrating heritage through artisanal fashion. Each piece is rooted in folklore, storytelling, and traditional craftsmanship. While the brand proudly highlights Hispanic roots, its vision extends far beyond — embracing and honoring cultures from around the world.

The collection features distinctive jewelry designed by Aileen Gonzalez‑Marti, a multidisciplinary artist whose work spans Hispanic attire, pageant costume design, handcrafted jewelry, ornaments, pattern making, murals, and 2D art. Her diverse artistic journey shapes every unique creation, transforming cultural narratives into WERABLE ART.

The Designer

Aileen González-Marti is a multidisciplinary artist whose creative path weaves together fashion, visual arts, and cultural storytelling. Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, she trained under esteemed mentors including Carlota Alfaro, Liza Thon, and Antonio Broccoli Porto.

Her work first gained national attention in 2002 when her design La Caña de Azuca (The Sugar Cane) was selected as the Traditional National Costume for Carla Tricoli, Miss Universe Puerto Rico, for the international pageant in Panama. Early in her career, she collaborated with prominent designers and artists such as Elier Aubret and Antonio Broccoli Porto, with whom she co-exhibited Bomba: Celebration of Sight and Sound at Montclair State University in New Jersey.

After relocating to Buffalo, New York, in 2012, Aileen became an influential presence in the local arts community. As Art Director for the Hispanic Heritage Council of Western NY (HHC), she played a pivotal role in revitalizing Niagara Street—also known as “Avenida San Juan”—designing the iconic welcoming arches that honor the area’s rich Hispanic heritage.

In 2016, Aileen co-founded Los Artistas del Barrio, an artist collective dedicated to mentoring Hispanic artists and promoting education through art by creating accessible creative spaces for the community. She also contributed to several public murals, including comunity collaboration in the mural  with renowned artist Betzy Casanas and works such as Roberto Clemente and From One Home to Another / De un hogar, a otro.

Today, she partners with her uncle, Juan González, to develop Luzdtull—an emerging online platform that introduces a new era of Hispanic-inspired designs blending tradition with contemporary aesthetics. Aileen serves as the CEO and Creative Director of Luzdtull.
